WNiCu Heavy Tungsten Alloy Bar is an alloy material based on tungsten (tungsten content is generally 80% ~ 98%) and composed of a small amount of Ni, Fe, Cu, Co, Mo, Cr and other elements. The density of high specific gravity tungsten alloy is as high as 15.20 ~ 18.70g/cm3, which is also known as high specific gravity tungsten alloy or high-density alloy material. Introduction and characteristics of Heavy Tungsten Alloy Bar

Heavy Tungsten Alloy Bar is mainly divided into two series: W-Ni-Fe, W-Ni-Cu and even w-ni-fe-cu. In comparison, W-Ni-Fe alloy has better mechanical properties and plays a great role in national defense industry and various fields of national economy. It is a very important new military material in national defense industry and has been gradually popularized to various civil industries.

Common processes for preparing tungsten heavy alloys include mixing the required amount of tungsten, iron, nickel or copper powder, and then cold pressing and liquid phase sintering to almost full density. During the liquid phase treatment, the base tungsten alloy melts and some tungsten is brought into the solution to form a microstructure through which large tungsten particles (20 – 60 µ m) are dispersed in the base alloy.
